Sustainability

We need to stop considering our buildings as merely storage containers for our belongings. A building’s design should take into account its surroundings and how they influence people’s physical and psychological well-being.

What comes to mind when you consider environmentally friendly, sustainable structures? A structure with rooftop gardens and solar panels? A LEED certification or two, perhaps? You are correct; those are wonderful things. However, sustainable design encompasses more than just the actual building itself.
